Evening Taster Session

Join us for a two Hour Class for Absolute Beginners
on a Thursday or Friday session times below:
Session 1. 4pm-6pm
Session 2. 6.30pm-8.30pm
In this fun introductory class you will become familiar with the potters wheel and learn what it is like to have a go at throwing. Each attendee has their own dedicated potters wheel and there is a maximum of 2 people in each class. You will be able to start learning the basics to centering, pulling up the walls of your pots and using your tools. Then its your turn to have a go at a bowl form. You will keep your best pot, which we will fire and glaze for you!
You will need to be available to come back 1 week later to turn and finish your pottery when it is leather hard and can be handled.
As soon as it has dried out sufficiently to go in the kiln (which may take several weeks) we will fire it.
We will then contact you to let you know you can come back at any time to paint your pottery using the wonderful glazes we have available, it will then be dipped by us in a clear glaze and re-fired for the last time.
When it is ready to collect we will let you know by text message.
